25 Wholesome Photos of Cute Cat Children Chilling in their Beautiful Baby Onesies

Posted by Laurent Shinar

Look, we get it, being a feline pawrent and having to put up with people telling you to your face that your cat is not your biological child is tough. In fact, it is far worse than tough, it inspires blind fury, especially when there is no retort you can throw back into these peoples' faces. But now, with this list, you have a URL to throw in their face that will send their argument flying all over the place.

For you see, this collection of cute cat children wearing their beautiful baby onesies is great for two things. First, it shows that cats can be just like kids, even down to wearing the exact same clothing. And second, it gives buckets of legitimacy to dressing up your catto in whatever colorful ways you may see fit without worrying about the judgey eyes of society. So pour yourself another coffee and get ready shove those snotty remarks that Noreen keeps jabbing you with down her doggo obsessed throat.

'My [cat] literally just moved himself in': The online feline family share how their former-feral ca

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

All cat people know - every cat deserves love, care, and a place to call home. Cats are such affectionate creatures, full of love just waiting to be given. And another thing every cat person knows, is that we're all here ready to recive that love from cats. It's a meowgical phenomenon, and if you're a cat person, you definitely know it. The magic of cats is their love, and they just want a home to give it in.

And cats know this themselves. How do we know it? Because cats make it very clear. Some feral strays are begging to be adopted, both because they know a loving home is the place to be, and because they know this is where they can give their cat meowgic to the hearty hoomans who adopted them.

One such new cat pawrent shared their story of their cat adoption - a strictly stray orange who was extremely hungry, ate whatever the kind person could give him, and decided: "This is a suitable place. I live here now." Such as he is. The entire online feline family shared their own stories of how street cats basically adopted them. Or, more accurately, adopted themselves into their homes. We're rooting for these brave cats adopting themselves.

26 Hissterical Feline Posts to Fill Your Fall Cup With Sugar, Spice, and Meowverything Nice

Posted by Blake Seidel

Now that it's meowfficially September, the time for pumpkin spice everything has arrived. Actually, it arrived for us about two weeks ago, but we were too embarrassed by our desire for it that we waited until it was more "seasonally appropriate". It's just so calm and comforting, the smell of the cinnamon, the sweetness of the pumpkin, and of course, that rush of caffeine.

But purrhaps you're not a fan of pumpkin spice (it's okay to be wrong, we accept you as you are), and in that case, we have something else for you to fill your Fall cup with: sugar, spice, and meowverything nice! And by that, we mean hissterical cat memes and tweets. They have the sweetness of a cat tempting you with the furbidden belly floof, the spiciness of a cat that has been fed 0.465 seconds late, and the purrfect cuteness that we know and love from our feline friends.

So you see, here at I Can Has Cheezburger, we like to cater to all needs. The only thing you need to love is cats, and if you've read this far into the article already, we're pretty sure that you're in the right place. Enjoy these sweet felines with an extra shot of floofiness!

'I guess he’s mine now': Stray cat shows up at woman's door, asking to be adopted, after 2 weeks of

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

We think that at this point, it is safe to say that it is a fact that cats adopt humans and not the other way around. It is certainly accepted as a fact in the cat community. The outside world still gets surprised by this. People who don't know cats are surprised when cats choose to adopt them out of nowhere, but it does happen - all the time. People who hate cats get adopted by cats, people who have never wanted cats get adopted by them. It happens every day, to the point that sometimes you wonder if cats are only adopting people who dislike them. When is it going to be our chance?

But that is not true, as this case proves. Sometimes, you, the cat person, have some luck too. And as much as this person was not expecting to get adopted by a cat right now, one thing that we are sure of is that they feel 100% honored and happy about it.

50+ Wholesome Feline Funnies to Sprinkle a Dash of Pawsitivity Into Your Meownday Mood

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

Oh, Monday. Most people hate it, and the rest are lying about it. And cat pawrents are no different. Mondays are awful - we have to get up early and cosplay as functioning members of society, like going to work while leaving our beloved feline friends behind at home. And what makes this even worse, is the fact that cat pawrents have to do it right after a full weekend of spending time with our cats. Playing, napping, and watching them go crazy happy when a new cardboard box arrives home. Cats are the best, really. And on Mondays, we have to leave for work without them. Why is modern society so cruel?

So, Mondays might be extra difficult for cat pawrents, but they can also be easier for them. Because, unlike other people, we have cat memes. And cat memes are the funny remedy for a tough day. As cat people, all you have to do is consume some wholesome feline funnies on a Monday morning to sprinkle this cat pawsitivity all over your day. And just like that, with this funny cat magic, your Monday is better. All thanks to cats.

26 Funny Feisty Felines Happily Informing Us That Their Cat Beds Are Strictly Decorative

Posted by Blake Seidel

If there is one thing that we can pass on to you as expurrt cat owners, it's this: expect the unexpected. Cats are purrfectly unpredictable. They like to keep you on your toes. One second, they love their feather toy, and the next second, it disgusts them more than a dirty litter box. One day, they love the food you've been feeding them for five years, and the next, they won't touch it with a 10-foot pole. But the thing you can never predict, not even if you think you know your cat like the back of your hand, is whether your cat is going to use their cat bed or not.

Yes, our funny feisty felines are all too happy to inform us that the $70 we spent on their orthopedic cat bed is purrrely decorative. A piece of meowdern art, if you will. To be appreciated visually, but not touched. Why should they touch it, when they have a purrfectly nice cardboard box to lie down in? Or, even better yet, an empty egg carton? Our cats will sleep in literally anything except their cat beds, but the second we try to take them away, they'll become interested. Purrhaps they're not so unpredictable after all.

23 Feline Funnies for Pet Parents With a Serious Case of the Mondays

Posted by Lana DeGaetano

It's Meownday, which means that we have a whole week ahead of us. Though you never really take a break from being a cat parent, you are without your fuzzy feline for a good chunk of the day when you're at work all week! This would obviously put you down in the dumps because, obviously, we want to be with our cat babies all the time! Unless you have a nanny cat cam in your home, you have no idea what your child is up to at all times of the day. Sure, you can Google kitty pictures to try and scratch that funny feline itch, but it pales in comparison to actual cat memes. Which, coincidentally (but not really at all), we have here for all pet parents today!

Those pesky work days have us all going stir crazy, especially when we feel like we have an entire year ahead of us. Mondays tend to feel that way, so it's important to focus on the little joys in life and take deep breaths between work tasks. Are you on the clock but itching for a feline funny (or 23)? 'He walked to us and allowed us to give him all the pets': Dumped kitten in a state park walks up fo

Posted by Sarah Brown

The Cat Distribution System clocked in right on schedule. Two hoomans and their herding dogs finished a dusk walk, returned to a parking lot full of school buses, and discovered a black kitten posted beside their car like he had the keys. They sat, waited, and the feline filed his adoption paperwork in biscuits and purrs. Middle of nowhere plus rumors of dumped kittens turned chance into rescue, and the passenger seat into destiny.

On the way home they did the classic CDS double-run: dogs dropped off, supplies scooped up, tiny hitchhiker installed on a warm lap. He purred like a little motor, kneaded like a pastry chef, and sampled watermelon mouse and strawberry mouse toys with great professionalism. He looks around five to six months, feather-light, already eating well and using the box like a pro. A clinic date is booked for the full glow-up shortly.

For two biologists, naming him Mr. Frizzle after a school-bus meet-cute feels just right. The dogs will learn the new classroom rules, the cat will teach extra-credit cuddles, and the Cat Distribution System will stamp this rescue "delivered."

21 Purrfect Pictures of Royal Cats Ruling Over Hoomans and Claiming Every Couch Cushion

Posted by Sarah Brown

Cats actually rule the household. The rest of us are loyal staff, promoted by head bonks and paid in purrs. Crowns may be paper and capes may be blankets, yet the authority is absolute. Sunbeams are royal courts, windowsills are balconies, and the couch becomes a velvet throne that relocates subjects from their seats.

Morning decrees arrive at 5 a.m. with a ceremonial paw tap. The royal procession inspects corridors, grants audience by slow blink, and appointments are sealed with biscuit making. One meow becomes law, summoning breakfast service with remarkable speed. When nap o'clock strikes, the kingdom pauses for purrliament, a very important meeting featuring loaf protocol and gentle rumbling.

Evening festivities feature feather jousts, corridor zoomies, and balcony speeches to Bird TV. The lounge lion reclines, whisker crown catching the last gold light, while scribes (that's us) document history on our phones. Finally comes the proclamation everyone knows by heart. All furniture belongs to the crown, all blankets are annexed, and the bed is now the royal realm. Subjects, take a seat on the floor. Long live the floof.

“I am sooo very happy we were able to save him from his skateboarding dumpster life”: A self-proclai

Posted by Laurent Shinar

Most cat rescues are complicated, thankfully this one is rather less. You see, in most cases, the Cat Distribution System needs to see that the would-be pawrent has what it takes to care for a kitten. That means determination, cunning and patience, all the qualities it takes to get a cat out of its hiding place in your walls.

But in this case the CDS knew that trick would not work, namely because we are talking about a dog lover who would likely not go to the effort initially, but only because they needed converting. Which is exactly what happened when this doggo doter 'stumbled' upon a cute kitten dressed in a fancy sweater in the sweltering heat. And before she knew it, she became a cat momma and never looked back. The CDS never ceases to amaze with its unending power and potential to find the right home for the right cat child.

Pitbull finds an abandoned kitten and adopts her like she was his own pup, turning the dog-filled fa

Posted by Ayala Sorotsky

We usually think of adoption as something humans do - we see a lonely paw, a pair of big eyes, and suddenly we can't imagine life without them. But the truth is, adoption is a feeling that goes beyond us. Our pets often show us that same instinct, that same pawtective love. Sometimes a dog takes one look at a tiny kitten and decides: "Mine". Other times, a cat welcomes a stray pup into their cuddle pile. It's a reminder that love, care, and companionship aren't just human traits - they're universal, flowing between species as naturally as wagging tails and purring floofs.

When it comes to dogs adopting kittens, the Cat Distribution System clearly knows what it's doing. Not only does it deliver surprise felines into human homes, but sometimes it sends them straight into the care of loyal, gentle doggos. It's the ultimate cross-species matchmaking service. Dogs, with their big hearts and protective instincts, often become the unlikely "mommies" or "daddies" to wide-eyed kittens who need love. And in return, those kittens give them purrs, cuddles, and a tiny shadow that never leaves their side. The CDS doesn't just gift cats to people - it gifts cats to dogs, too.

That's exactly what happened in this story: Bubba the pitbull discovered a tiny abandoned kitten in a woodpile and instantly claimed her as his baby. Now, she waddles along slowly while Bubba and the other rescue dogs walk behind, careful not to step on her. Our hearts are completely melted.

30 Hilarious Cat Memes That Prove Felines Run On Chaos and Vibes Alone

Posted by Mariel Ruvinsky

You know how cats nap like 16 hours a day and still look like they are constantly tired? Well, we think that we have realized why that is. We, as humans, are fueled by sleep. If we get enough sleep every night for a long enough period of time, then we should be pretty ready to face the day. But cats… cats are not fueled by sleep. Cats, actually, are fueled almost entirely by chaos. Yes, we stand by that. That is why cat memes are so funny. Because they're true. Because not a single one of those memes is an exaggeration.

Cats are just like that. Cats are chaotic, and therefore, cat memes are chaotic as well. And we, as cat owners, and before that, as people who were simply obsessed with cats, love that. We appreciate the realism of funny cat memes like these. And the fact that we always laugh at these memes and always feel at least marginally better after scrolling through them means that we are thankful to cats and their chaos as well.
